Chess variant


Chess variant where that player loses, who does not have at least one piece of each type. In other words, a player loses if any of the following happens with his/her pieces:

Otherwise the rules of chess apply, with the following differences:

Note: if that rare condition occurs when the player on turn has pieces of each type but no legal moves, the game ends in a draw (stalemate).
