Chess variant

Chess variant whose board has been cut into half between the two sides, and connected not properly, but slipped by one square horizontally.

Otherwise the rules of chess apply, with the following difference:

Pawns promote on the opposite side of the board. If a pawn is blocked in the middle, it remains there as a pawn, and the only way to continue its path is to capture.
