Asymmetric Augmented Knight

Chess variant

Chess variant where the knights are extended with a new power, but different for the two players. There are four possibilities to choose from for both side.

Jump two fields diagonally

Move one field diagonally

Jump two fields orthogonally (in rook directions)

Move one field orthogonally

Otherwise the rules of chess apply, with the following difference:

- Pawns can promote to augmented knight (the appropriate for each colour), but not to normal knight.

Since there are four choices for each colour, but these cannot be the same in this game (only in the symmetric variant: Augmented Knight), therefore there are 12 possibilities to play this game.
